U is the third studio album by underscores, the project of producer and songwriter April Harper Grey, released in 2026. The record pushes her hyperpop roots toward a glossy, ambitious vision of mainstream pop, blending dubstep, future bass, electronic music, pop-R&B, trance and guitar-driven maximalism into constantly shifting songs packed with hooks and intricate production. Written and produced entirely by Grey, U explores desire, relationships, isolation and the strange experience of emerging pop stardom, with highlights including “Tell Me (U Want It),” “Music,” “Hollywood Forever,” “Do It” and “Wish U Well.” Energetic, emotional and deliberately unpredictable, the album distills the genre-hopping experimentation of her earlier work into one of her most focused releases. This edition is pressed on clear vinyl.

PICK UP: We only offer pick-up in store services during our regular operating hours. Due to space limitations, we can only hold on to your order for a maximum of 30 days. Orders that are not picked up during this window will be restocked. No cash or card refunds will be given for unclaimed orders.
RETURNS: We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. All records must be returned sealed and complete (no missing discs or inserts). Approved returns will be issued as in-store credit only, and that credit will also be valid for 30 days.
