The Strokes - Room on Fire

The Strokes - Room on Fire

$35.00

Following the breakout success of Is This It, The Strokes returned in 2003 with Room on Fire—a sleek, tightly wound follow-up that doubled down on their signature sound: sharp guitar interplay, vintage cool, and Julian Casablancas' effortlessly detached vocals.

This album doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel—and that’s exactly the point. Tracks like “Reptilia,” “12:51,” and “Under Control” glide with confidence, mixing retro garage rock energy with crisp, modern polish. It’s tighter, punchier, and more refined, without losing the raw charm that made them NYC rock royalty in the first place.

Room on Fire might live in the shadow of their debut for some, but it’s quietly become a fan favorite—and an essential piece of the early 2000s indie rock movement. If you like your rock stylish, lean, and endlessly replayable, this one still burns.
