Tame Impala - Currents

$46.00

Currents is Tame Impala’s third studio album, released in July 2015, and marks a turning point in Kevin Parker’s sound. Gone are many of the loud, guitar-driven psychedelic rock elements of his earlier work; instead there’s a heavier focus on synths, electronic textures, bass grooves, disco and funk influences. Thematically, the album delves into personal transformation, heartbreak, and the tension between wanting things to stay the same and knowing things must change. Tracks like “Let It Happen”, “Eventually”, and “The Less I Know the Better” showcase that mix of introspection and danceable groove, chemistry between emotionally raw lyrics and polished, wide-ranging production. The result is an album that feels both deeply personal and sonically expansive — a moment of metamorphosis for Parker, and for listeners. Would you like a one-sentence version of that?

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS

Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
