Pink Floyd – Atom Heart Mother (180g Vinyl / Gatefold / 2016 Remaster)

Originally released in 1970, Atom Heart Mother is the fifth studio album by legendary British progressive rock band Pink Floyd, showcasing their transition from psychedelic experimentation toward the ambitious sound that would later define their career. Blending progressive rock, psychedelic music, orchestral arrangements, and avant-garde influences, the album features the epic 23-minute title track, recorded with a brass ensemble and choir. Other standout songs include “If,” “Summer ’68,” “Fat Old Sun,” and the experimental instrumental suite “Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast.” Known for its iconic cow cover artwork and adventurous compositions, Atom Heart Mother represents an important chapter in Pink Floyd’s evolution before classics like Meddle and The Dark Side of the Moon. This 2016 reissue is pressed on 180g vinyl and features the original gatefold artwork, making it an essential addition for progressive rock collectors.
