Modern Baseball – Sports (CD)
Modern Baseball – Sports is the debut studio album by the Philadelphia-based emo and indie rock band, released in 2012. Blending Midwest emo, pop-punk, and indie rock, the album captures the awkwardness, heartbreak, and uncertainty of young adulthood through witty lyrics, raw vocals, and catchy guitar-driven melodies. Featuring standout tracks such as “Re-Do,” “Tears Over Beers,” “The Weekend,” and “Your Graduation,” Sports showcases the band's signature combination of humor, vulnerability, and emotionally honest storytelling. With its DIY production and relatable themes of relationships, friendship, and growing up, the album became a cult favorite and an influential release in the 2010s emo revival.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
