Fontaines D.C. - Romance (Deluxe/Turquoise Vinyl /2LP)
Romance (2024), the fourth album by Irish band Fontaines D.C., marks a bold reinvention of their sound, blending post-punk roots with cinematic atmospheres, Britpop swagger, hip-hop beats, and lush orchestration under producer James Ford. Inspired by Japanese manga, Italian cinema, and urban Tokyo, the record explores the dual nature of romance—both beautiful and unsettling—through Grian Chatten’s deeply personal lyrics on longing, panic, and existential reflection. Songs like “Starburster” and “Favourite” showcase their expanded range, from breathless urgency to tender vulnerability. Widely acclaimed as their most ambitious and accessible work yet, Romance earned Grammy nominations and solidified Fontaines D.C. as one of the most innovative rock bands of their generation.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
