Blood Orange - Essex Honey (2LP/150G/45RPM) (Pre-order)
Essex Honey is Blood Orange’s 2025 album and Dev Hynes’ first full-length release under the project since 2018’s Negro Swan. Intimate and reflective, the record explores grief, family, memory, home, and Hynes’ relationship with England, blending dreamy alternative R&B and pop with post-punk, New Wave, acoustic textures, cello, and hazy electronics. The 14-track album features an expansive group of collaborators, including Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, Tirzah, Brendan Yates, and The Durutti Column. Songs such as “The Field,” “Mind Loaded,” and “Vivid Light” capture its nostalgic, deeply personal atmosphere. This edition is pressed across two 150-gram LPs and is designed to be played at 45 RPM.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
