Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
Aphex Twin’s Windowlicker is a landmark 1999 EP that captures Richard D. James at his most inventive, unpredictable, and playful. The title track twists seductive R&B-inspired melodies into fractured beats, warped vocals, and intricate electronic textures, while the rest of the release ventures further into experimental and ambient territory. Accompanied by an unforgettable Chris Cunningham-directed music video, “Windowlicker” became one of Aphex Twin’s most recognizable tracks and a defining release in late-’90s electronic music.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
