Vol. 2 is the second studio album by Canadian experimental rock duo Angine de Poitrine, released in 2026. Building on the eccentric sound of their debut, the album blends psychedelic rock, math rock, progressive rock, acid techno, and disco into a wildly inventive musical experience. Featuring intricate microtonal guitar riffs, hypnotic rhythms, unconventional time signatures, and explosive drumming, the record showcases the duo's technical brilliance and playful creativity. Across six tracks, including “Fabienk,” “Mata Zyklek,” “Sarniezz,” and “Yor Zarad,” the band delivers an unpredictable yet surprisingly danceable journey through experimental rock. A fascinating release for fans of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Frank Zappa, and adventurous instrumental music.
