Wavves – Wavvves

$33.00

Released in March 2009 through Fat Possum Records, Wavvves is the second studio album by American indie rock project Wavves, led by singer and guitarist Nathan Williams. Blending lo-fi, noise pop, surf punk, and garage rock, the album features distorted guitars, fuzzy production, catchy melodies, and raw, energetic performances. Featuring standout tracks like “So Bored,” “No Hope Kids,” “Beach Demon,” and “California Goths,” the record explores teenage boredom, alienation, anxiety, and rebellious youth culture. Recorded with a deliberately rough, homemade aesthetic, Wavvves became a defining release of the late-2000s lo-fi indie rock movement, paving the way for the band's breakthrough album King of the Beach (2010).

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS

Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
