Underscores – Wallsocket (Director's Cut) (Deluxe Edition / 2LP)
Released in June 2024 through Mom + Pop Music, Wallsocket (Director's Cut) is the expanded edition of the acclaimed 2023 album by American singer, songwriter, and producer April Harper Grey, known professionally as underscores. Blending hyperpop, alternative rock, electronic music, pop-punk, and experimental pop, the album combines distorted guitars, glitchy production, catchy melodies, and unconventional storytelling. Set in the fictional town of Wallsocket, Michigan, the record explores identity, relationships, suburban life, and internet culture. Featuring standout tracks like “Locals (Girls Like Us),” “Cops and Robbers,” “Uncanny Long Arms,” and “You Don't Even Know Who I Am,” this deluxe edition expands the original album from 12 to 16 tracks, adding four bonus songs. The special 2LP vinyl edition features a gatefold jacket, printed lyric insert, and hand-painted cover artwork by Jordan Sullivan.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
