Tomoko Aran - Fuyu Kukan (180G/HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL/45 RPM/2LP)
Tomoko Aran’s Fuyu Kukan is a 1983 Japanese city pop classic that blends synth-pop, new wave, funk, and polished electronic production into a sleek, atmospheric sound. Produced with significant contributions from Masatoshi Nishimura of FENCE OF DEFENSE, the album is best known for “Midnight Pretenders,” a dreamy late-night favorite that later gained renewed attention after being sampled by The Weeknd on “Out of Time.” Filled with shimmering synthesizers, sophisticated grooves, and Aran’s distinctive vocals, Fuyu Kukan has become a sought-after title among city pop collectors. This expanded edition includes one bonus track and is pressed at 45 RPM across two 180-gram heavyweight vinyl records.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
