Joy Division - Exhibition Amsterdam 1980 (2LP)
Exhibition - Amsterdam 1980 (2LP) by Joy Division is a live recording capturing the band’s stark, atmospheric performance in Amsterdam shortly before the end of their brief career. The set showcases their raw stage sound and signature post-punk intensity, featuring live renditions of songs from Unknown Pleasures and Closer, driven by Peter Hook’s bass lines, Stephen Morris’s mechanical rhythms, and Ian Curtis’s haunting vocals. The release serves as a powerful document of Joy Division at their peak, highlighting the emotional weight and minimalism that made them one of the most influential bands in alternative music.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
