Jarabe de Palo was a Spanish rock band formed in Barcelona in 1996, led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Pau Donés. The band rose to international fame with the hit La Flaca, blending rock, pop, blues, and Latin influences with clever, poetic lyrics that connected strongly with audiences in Spain and Latin America. Known for albums such as La Flaca, Depende, and Bonito, Jarabe de Palo became one of the most influential Spanish-language bands of the late 1990s and 2000s, earning multiple awards and critical acclaim. Following Pau Donés’ long battle with cancer and his passing in 2020, the band came to an end, leaving behind a legacy of honest songwriting, emotional depth, and timeless songs.

PICK UP: We only offer pick-up in store services during our regular operating hours. Due to space limitations, we can only hold on to your order for a maximum of 30 days. Orders that are not picked up during this window will be restocked. No cash or card refunds will be given for unclaimed orders.
RETURNS: We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. All records must be returned sealed and complete (no missing discs or inserts). Approved returns will be issued as in-store credit only, and that credit will also be valid for 30 days.
