Blur - The Great Escape (30th Anniversary / 2LP) (Blue & Yellow Vinyl)
The Great Escape is Blur’s 1995 Britpop peak: a glossy, maximalist record packed with sharp social satire, huge choruses, and lavish production by Stephen Street. Featuring hits like Country House and The Universal, it captures the excess and ambition of mid-90s Britain and sat at the center of the Blur–Oasis rivalry. While enormously successful, its overstuffed brilliance also pushed Blur to pivot toward a rawer, more stripped-down sound on their next album, making The Great Escape both a high point and a turning point in their career.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR RECORDS
Always handle your vinyl by its edges and label, avoiding fingerprints on the grooves. Before and after each play, gently clean the surface with a carbon-fiber anti-static brush or a dedicated record-cleaning solution to remove dust and debris. Store records upright in their sleeves, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to preserve sound quality and prevent warping..
